As the Clinical Director at LEANLife, Cristian brings over a decade of dedicated expertise and a passion for advancing healthcare excellence. His versatile background spans various healthcare settings, including Home Health, Outpatient, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Skilled Nursing Care, with a specialized focus on Neurological and Cerebrovascular Accident/Stroke cases.
Cristian is recognized for his mastery in post-Stroke Rehabilitation, leveraging NeuroDevelopmental Treatment (NDT) principles and actively engaging with renowned stroke-care organizations such as the prestigious NDTA. Collaborating with Physical Therapy programs across multiple states and universities, he is a committed mentor, guiding aspiring PTs and PTAs with his extensive knowledge and credentials as a Clinical Instructor from esteemed accrediting bodies.
With over two decades of expertise in clinical hypnotherapy, Cristian deeply values the integration of mind-body connections into rehabilitation practices. His approach harmonizes essential hypnotherapeutic principles within standard models, optimizing program adherence and fostering enhanced outcomes. As LEANLife's Clinical Director, Cristian epitomizes a commitment to holistic wellness, shaping comprehensive care strategies that set new benchmarks in elevating the standards of rehabilitation.
Dr. Dave Gordon, Medical director
Dr. Dave Gordon has more than 20 years of experience teaching patients and practitioners. His passion is providing non-pharmaceutical options for chronic disease prevention and treatment, using 4 Pillars — food, movement, relaxation & community — as cornerstones of an integrative approach.
He received his Medical Doctorate and completed residency training at the University of Colorado. Dr. Dave is board-certified in Internal and Integrative Medicine and a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner with the Institute of Functional Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Dave provides medical cannabis and integrative medicine consultations at 4 Pillars Health & Wellness. He also provides oversight, education, and guidance to practitioners and businesses within the integrative health space.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Dave is a leader in the field of cannabis medicine, and brings knowledge to patients, practitioners, and the general public. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Cannabis Sciences at the Community College of Denver and serves on the advisory board of Leaf 411, a non-profit organization that provides education and directional support to the general public about the safe use of legal cannabis.
Cassie, Nurse Practioner
Meet Cassie, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a rich educational background and over 12 years of experience in healthcare. Graduating from the esteemed University of Kansas School of Nursing with both her BSN and MSN degrees, Cassie has honed her expertise across various specialties. From General Pediatrics to Pediatric Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, and Urgent Care, she has navigated diverse medical landscapes with skill and compassion.
But Cassie's journey doesn't stop there—her professional repertoire extends into realms such as Aesthetics, Weight Loss, Wellness, and Natural Medicine. It's in the fields of Wellness and Functional Medicine that Cassie's passion truly shines. With several modules completed through the Institute of Functional Medicine, she is deeply committed to empowering her patients to achieve optimal health and well-being.
Cassie's approach to patient care goes beyond traditional medicine. She is dedicated to researching and educating her patients on adjunctive therapies that can enhance their quality of life. Through her guidance and expertise, Cassie strives to not only treat symptoms but to address the root causes of health issues, fostering holistic healing and long-term wellness. Rae Dominguez, Clinical Director & Medical Assistant
Rae Dominguez, a native of Pueblo, Colorado, discovered her passion for the medical field at a young age. Beginning her career as a QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel) at just 17, she found fulfillment in caring for others. Over the course of five years, Rae dedicated herself to this role, honing her skills and compassion.
Seeking new challenges and experiences, Rae transitioned into the retail sector, where she spent eight years excelling in various roles, including management. She adeptly balanced leadership responsibilities while ensuring exceptional customer service, demonstrating her versatility and adaptability.
Never one to stop learning and growing, Rae pursued further education in medical assisting, earning her certification as a Registered Medical Assistant. This accomplishment marked a significant milestone in her career journey, solidifying her commitment to healthcare.
Continuing her pursuit of knowledge and professional development, Rae is currently pursuing her associate's degree in business management, aiming to merge her expertise in healthcare with business acumen.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Rae finds joy in her roles as a wife and mother to three daughters. Family is at the center of her life, and she cherishes spending quality time with her loved ones in her free time. With a strong work ethic, a passion for healthcare, and a commitment to personal growth, Rae Dominguez is a driven individual poised for success in both her career and personal life.
Savanna Muniz, Director of Clinical Education and Medical Assistant
Savanna Muniz is a dedicated medical professional with a passion for patient care and education. Born in Denver, Colorado, Savanna moved to Pueblo at a young age, where she embarked on her journey in the medical field.
With over a decade of experience, Savanna began her medical career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 2009. Her commitment to excellence and compassionate patient care has earned her the respect of colleagues and patients alike.
In 2016, Savanna transitioned into the role of a Medical Assistant, bringing her wealth of knowledge and experience to the forefront of her practice. Since then, she has honed her skills and expertise, specializing in urology, neurology, and general surgery as a Medical Assistant, with a particular focus on colorectal disease. Her dedication to staying at the forefront of medical advancements ensures that she provides the highest standard of care to her patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Savanna is also passionate about education. In 2022, she took on the role of Medical Assistant Instructor, where she imparts her expertise to the next generation of medical professionals. Her nurturing approach and hands-on teaching style have made her a beloved mentor to her students.
Outside of her professional life, Savanna is a devoted mother to four boys and three fur babies. She brings the same level of care and dedication to her family life as she does to her work. Savanna's commitment to excellence, both in the clinic and the classroom, makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
Alisha Valdez, Director of Marketing & Media
Alisha Valdez currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Media at LEANLife. Originally from Pueblo, Colorado, she demonstrated exceptional drive from an early age, completing her education at East High School a year ahead of schedule in 2006. Following her graduation, she pursued certification as a Dental Assistant from Intellitec College in 2010.
Throughout her journey, Alisha has remained dedicated to supporting and uplifting others, a value that fuels her professional and personal endeavors. She firmly believes in leaving a positive imprint on everyone she meets, a principle that guides her actions and decisions.
Beyond her professional commitments, Alisha treasures spending time with her husband and children, finding solace and happiness in their company. Music has always been a significant part of her life, providing her with inspiration and joy. She approaches each day with enthusiasm, embracing life to the fullest while placing her faith at the center of her existence.
